WebIPHI is one of the region’s leading resources for the training of community health workers. As of 2014, we have played a role in training approximately 200 community health workers across DC, Maryland and Virginia. In addition, we train staff at health care organizations on how to integrate community health workers into their clinical care teams. WebCHW Training Program We offer a no-cost 10-week core competency training program designed to strengthen the skills, knowledge, and abilities of community health workers. This training is offered quarterly online. Anyone who completes the core competency program can enroll in FREE Continuing Education Health Specific Modules (HSMs).
