WebFeb 13, 2016 · bahahaha since the "mr2" stands for Mid engine, Rear wheel drive, 2.0 liter, if you swapped a 2jz with a fwd setup you would have a "FR3 gte" for front engine, rwd, 3.0 or 3.4 liter.

Although you could easily add one from a RWD 4AGE in the AE86 Corolla. Its shorter than a 2JZ and if you upgrade the pistons and rods it has a higher power potential than the 2JZ. Hi Tyler, Both the Supra and the MR2 use low impedance injectors. The stock ECU can't drive low impedance injectors, so Toyota runs resistors in series with the injectors to make them high impedance.
